To me, everything containing Viggo Mortensen is worth watching. Is that all?
A Perfect Murder is a ‘90s crime thriller in which Steven (played by Michael Douglas) finds out his wife Emily (played by Gwyneth Paltrow) is fucking the handsome artist David (played by Viggo Mortensen), so he tries to hire the guy to kill her in a meticulous plan.
I loved the idea, and the setup of the movie. However, after the first act or so, the film just goes to generic places. It was not awful, but it was a bit of a letdown considering the beginning.
The cast and acting are the highlight, of course.
I like the movie, but for a moment I thought I would love it. Overall, it’s pretty watchable.
