I usually avoid this kind of mindless action, not because I’m an elitist, but because it’s not my style. I gave this one a try because of a recommendation, so now, let’s talk about it.

The plot is simple, well-constructed, and there’s even a backstory that is very well delivered. However, there’s nothing to elevate it.

The characters are really stereotypical, but I’m not sure it’s in the wrong way. I see it as an homage instead of a mockery. And best of all, most of them are great.

It’s a funny movie, although not hilarious, and full of action. That plus the interesting characters makes a very entertaining movie.

To wrap it up, it’s an enjoyable film, but nothing too special. Still, recommendable if you’re in the mood for some captivating action.
