Fresh tells the story of Noa (played by Daisy Edgar-Jones), a young woman who meets the perfect guy, Steve (played by Sebastian Stan), when she’s almost giving up dating. However, Steve seems too good to be true.

In the beginning, you almost forgot you are watching a horror movie. But that’s not a bad thing, it’s only set up for what’s yet to come, and without spoilers, there’s a lot.

The main duo gives amazing performances. I already liked Sebastian Stan, and I like him even more now. As for Daisy Edgar-Jones, it’s the first time I watch her (I think), and I love it.

Finally, a unique and creative story. It talks about something gruesome and repulsive, but it’s actually an allegory for women abuse.

Talking about repulsiveness, the effects are excellent. The props for the gore, the make-up and, of course, the food helps tie the movie together in a cohesive way.

It is worth the watch without a doubt.
