Stranger Tales (Histórias Estranhas) is a Brazilian Horror Anthology released in 2017. I watched it on Amazon Prime Video, but you’ll have to check if it’s available in your country.

I needed something special to restart the channel as Of The Mice, and here it is. However, this is not a review, it’s more of a recommendation to support small budget and independent filmmakers.

Created by Ricardo Ghiorzi, the movie contains eight small films of varying quality, all of them mainly of the horror genre, but mixed with other genres like sci-fi and even comedy.

My favorite segment was Apostles, directed by Marcos DeBrito and starred by Marcelo Argenta, Thaty Taranto and Gabriel Muglia (more about him in the upcoming reviews). It has the best technical quality overall and is a very intriguing story.
